Pavilion Renovations Sign In or Register to add photos

The Diamond Jubilee Pavilion on Dolwen Field was built in the 1970's with a life expectancy of around 25 years. For some time now the facilities have left a lot to be desired, and in Autumn 2012, Llanwrtyd Town Council were fortunate in securing grants from the Aggregate Levy for Wales and SITA UK to improve the facilities and bring the Pavilion up to standard. This money along with the remainder of the Calor grant for winning the Calor Village of the Year - Wales competition in 2009 and some private donations meant that work on the Pavilion could begin in October 2012. These photographs follow the progress of the work, which is due for completion mid to late March 2013. Other photos will be added, including those of the Official Opening scheduled for early May.
